We are delighted to welcome newly appointed Baroness Morgan of Cotes, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, previously MP for Loughborough, elected three times since 2010, and has held posts including Secretary of State for Education, Minister for Women and Equalities, Financial Secretary for HM Treasury, Economic Secretary for HM Treasury and Asst Whip Treasury.
Nicky Morgan was born in Kingston and she joins us at the prestigious Conservative Home of The Carlton Club in St James’ St to share with us her extraordinary journey from Kingston to Westminster, recently appointed Baroness Morgan in the House of Lords.
Introducing Nicky Morgan, will be Nicholas True, Baron True of East Sheen, OBE, who served as Leader of Richmond Council between 2010-17 and a member of the House of Lords. Lord True was previously Director of Public Policy Unit and Deputy Head of the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit.
