At this event, we will be able to debate 'Global Britain' - What does it mean for you? “The great prize for this country – the opportunity ahead – is to use this moment to build a truly Global Britain. A country that reaches out to old friends and new allies alike. A great, global, trading nation. And one of the firmest advocates for free trade anywhere in the world.” (Prime Minister Theresa May, 17 January 2017). As Conservatives, we believe, among other values, in promoting freedom, enterprise and responsibility; in strong national defence, international cooperation and prioritising the vulnerable. For “Global Britain” to be more than a worthy aspiration, the slogan must be backed by substance.
You cannot afford to miss this crucial briefing, Q&A, and chance to contribute to policy development on Global Britain.
